We're re-issuing one of Chris's most popular lessons with re-mastered video and updated loop points. From Chris:
Hello All! For this week’s lesson I’m going to show you a solo that is based off of harmonizing a scale using double-stops; or, in other words, playing a scale in 2 part harmony. This simple device can give a solo a unique, uplifting sound. We’ll also look at using a couple of triad shapes to navigate and highlight the interesting minor chords in Ginseng Sullivan. As always, it is my hope that you’ll use devices as jumping off points to come up with your own ideas/solos.
Happy exploring!
Chris
