This week we're going to start poking our heads into the land of Earl Scruggs. Earl, in addition to playing ingenious fast-rolling banjo, had a very cool repertoire of these bluesier, not roll-based licks. Aside from them all being musically great, a nice thing about these licks is that they are shape based and therefore modular and moveable.
