We're re-issuing one of Chris's most popular lessons with re-mastered video and updated loop points. From Chris:
Hello All! This week we’re building directly on the rhythm guitar embellishments that we talked about last week. The phrases and chords I’m showing you this time are basically expanded versions of what we learned before. In particular, the D9 lick is now preceded by 2 other triads with a particular syncopation. The trick here is to approach it slowly and make sure that you understand what the syncopated rhythms are - the chords themselves are pretty easy. We’ll also look at one of my favorite Tony Rice rhythm guitar licks which is a long single note phrase that culminates in a beautifully inevitable G-run. Fun stuff if you ask me!
Cheers!
Chris
