We're re-issuing one of Chris's most popular lessons with re-mastered video and updated loop points. From Chris:
Hello Friends, This week we’ll be closing out our series on Red Haired Boy with a couple of the more interesting licks that Tony Rice has graced us with over the years. The first is a great substitution of a particular D minor 7th chord over the F that inspired me greatly when I was a young guitar player and finally figured out how it worked. The second lick that we are going to look at is in the running for “Most Iconic Tony Rice Lick of All Time.” It integrates both a G triad and an F triad (making it perfect for this particular song), a crazy register jump, and a strong G run at the end. What more could you want?
Cheers,
Chris
