In this lesson on fundamentals I show you a simple 1, 4, 5 progression in the key of E. If this is new to you, just remember to take your time and give your mind plenty of time to digest. Practice until it becomes second nature!
We also focus on a simple walking bass line to accompany another player or to add some dynamics to your playing.
I look forward to hearing from you.

Hi Corey, new year and some great refreshing of the fundamentals is perfect for me. Thanks for doing this series and would be great to have some more similar lessons if you have time.
Greetings Cam and thank you. I am happy that these lessons have been useful. If there is anything you would like to learn please let me know.
I like this getting into the fundamentals and then building on them. Learning different ways to move improvisationally within a given progression outside of the context of a 'formal song' is interesting learning, as well as in that context, which is great.
Thankful that it has been helpful and for your sharing your thoughts. Keep practicing!
I like the of lesson you just need.
Great lesson!
