In this lesson I will walk you slowly through how I play the tune as well as variations that you may want to try out. I will also discuss the slide technique that I call decay.
The rhythm of this tune is a lot more fluid...not something you can just tap your feet to...so I will also talk about the concepts of pulse, tempo and timing. For me, this tune is a spiritual meditation, as well as being the first slide tune I learned to play well.
