In this video we talk about singing and how to get the best vocal performance. Sing as often as you can and don't sing with too much force or volume when you practice; this is extra effort and takes away from the attention we should be paying to the nuances and details of the song itself. If we are singing too loud from the beginning, thinking that we already 'got it' then we are missing out on a lot of important information. Spend a lot of time singing acapella and then once you are sure of the melody, sing it while you play. Repetition and listening are key. Always listen back to the reference video to make sure that you are not missing anything.
