Greetings and Salutations Guitar Wizards Across the Globe!
Here we are again in the Social Music zone with the legendary African-American gospel song “This Little Light Of Mine.” Although there are a few common ways to play this one we’re going to cook something up that’s loosely based on a version by The Staple Singers. In this lesson we’ll be in the key of D and rather than the 5 chord version that includes the F# and Bm, we’ll play it with just the I, IV, and V chords. Along the way we’ll get some bass runs together and figure out a solo section. All this in under half an hour!! That’s the way we roll here and I appreciate taking this journey with you. Let me know how it goes, your feedback is always appreciated and helpful....Let it shine!!
