Hello Ukulele friends and Lovers! It's Walking The Dog time, people! We'll break this down into 2 lessons and I have some very good news: It's in the mighty key of A. What you learn here will not only be easy and satisfying, it'll be secret knowledge you can apply to all blues based songs in this key, and there will be many. This song came out of Memphis in the early 1960's and was one of the first big hits for the little (at that time) label known as Stax Records. Steve Cropper was the guitar player and I celebrate him almost every day. Most of his playing was based on chord shapes and I think he's a great example for Ukulele players - simple, strong, and soulful...that's the goal. This song will take you there...
