Hi Sonic Harpers!
For our second week tearing apart my 1st Position piece “First Class” we will be adding some really nasty sounding 3 draw bends. This will include distorting the half step bend on the 3 draw, as well as adding some vibrato to the note (or tremolo if that is easier for you). Also in this chorus, we will be utilizing some smooth gradual bends on the 2 draw. This is something I will be revisiting several times in this song, so make sure you work on your bending muscles here with the 2 draw and 3 draw to make sure you can handle the smooth “in between” steps as we weave in between these notes here.

I love the sound of the lower end this 1st position stuff, although this lesson has made realise that my 3 hole bends are still a work in progress.
