Hi All! In this installment of my “First Class” study piece we will be digging deeper into some sounds I used in the previous choruses…mainly some smooth gradual 2 draw bends, and some rhythmic comping in between single notes. This chorus will really test your abilities with these techniques. For practicing your smooth bends, just practice bending down and back up slower than I go here in this song, down and up on the 2 draw. Smoothness and fluidity is key here, just as with the rhythmic comping towards the end of this chorus. No fancy or extravagant licks, but lots of energy and mood in this chorus.
Really try to feel this one out, and I’ll see ya next time! -
