Hi Harpers of Sonic Junction!
We will now dissect Chorus 4 of Moan-A-Chrome, which includes going to a higher octave on the harp, as well as some more rapid tongue vamping. Just because we are moving around the harp now doesn’t mean you should get worried…in fact, the opposite! On the chromatic harmonica, every octave is tuned the same way, so any patterns you know in one section of the harp will also work in any other section of the harp. That’s a pretty nice thing to have while working on a new instrument!
Grab your chromatics now, and get ready to wail higher up for this next chorus!
