Hi there - Dennis Gruenling here, now ready to get into this next section of my 3rd position piece “Third Is The Word”. There will be a fair amount of techniques involved in this section including intervals, octaves, distorted notes, trills, and some tonal variations we will work on as well. We will also be taking some of my short phrases and turning them into little themes to use for this section, changing them around slowly, little by little, and building up to release some musical tension. Remember, it’s not just the notes you play, but HOW you play them, and what you SAY with these notes that counts! Dig in, and have some fun with this!

That V-IV-I in Chorus 6 is very hip. That's one I'm going to steal, for sure.
Holy poop this starts out ok but my brain exploded when I'm supposed to scoop up on the 3. Separating the boys on this, cool jam.
Haha!! There are four notes in hole 3 draw...it's good to learn how to separate them and treat them as such...remember it's not just a "note that bends". There is a natural note (unbent), and then three other notes that you can bend down to. Bending is the most difficult thing about mastering the harmonica, but once you start tackling it, so many doors open up!
