Hi Folks, This week we are starting a new song. It's the Albert King classic Born Under A Bad Sign. We are learning the rhythm guitar this week from the intro up to the guitar solo. The rhythm part consists of single note low string lines and they are are just about the coolest lines I've ever heard. Expertly crafted by Steve Cropper, they create a mood that draws you instantly in to the song. It's a deceptively simple part and it takes a while to figure when to change up the parts on this one. Get this first half down solid then we march on the the second half which is from the solo to the vamp ending. Gonna be a fun time learning this one.
Enjoy!
Duke

Ok, I see. Not particularly intuitive, but c'est la vie. Thanks.
