Hello Folks,
This week we learn the a I'll for "Shake For Me" and what a great one it is! Since I first heard this in about 1965 it has been one of my absolute favorite blues solos and still is. Hubert Sumlin's way of bending strings and sliding around is totally unique and although basically simple, it's not that easy to pull off and sound like him. I made a point of learning this solo note for note. It was easier back then but I'll show you all the twists and turns to do the Hubert thing.
Its a lot of fun once you get the hang of it! So goo d luck and let's see some videos with the track.
Enjoy!
Duke

Hey again, Duke. I've been continuing to work on it, and actually am trying to sing it as well. Would love to hear any feedback on this! Thanks!
Hey Duke! This is such a great and wild solo! I'm so glad to have learned it. I especially love those multinote bends. How's it sound? Bruce
