Speaking to my local music store I learned that there will always be latency issues when recording over a playback. you may need to investing in some equipment to overcome this such as the Audio Technica at2020 plus.

I just got an Audio Technica AT2020+ and I am getting a lot of distortion. Does anyone have any suggestions. The amp volume is not that loud, Fender Deluxe Reverb set at 3.It is not distorting from the amp. It is clean.

I have been told that this microphone is way to sensitive for mic'ing at the amp. Looks like i'll be going the interface route.
