Greetings, Jerry here. I’m looking forward to connecting with you via Skype and working with you to deepen your grasp of both the technical aspect of playing the harmonica as well as the conceptual aspect of the blues that it can so powerfully express.

I have taught many students over the years in private lessons, workshops, master classes, college courses, and of course, here at Sonic Junction. My teaching philosophy applies all I’ve learned through my life: from watching Little Walter outside my father's store to learning from Big Walter to playing and recording with Muddy Waters, Eric Clapton and many others.

There is great benefit to be derived from having the realtime feedback that these personal Skype sessions offer. The lesson will be directed by your particular interests, skill level and goals. All of my knowledge and experience will be focused on listening to you and ascertaining what needs to be addressed in order to help you achieve your goals and develop your abilities and understanding of blues harmonica.

My Skype lessons are usually held on Mondays, Tuesdays or Wednesdays. I offer 1/2 hour lessons for $55 or 1 hour lessons for $100. The lessons can be purchased in 4-lesson bundles so we have time to get to know each other and work on your specific needs.
