For the life of me I could not understand the bit G/E A/D it was the D that I couldnt get my brain around ,IT's a D7 with the F# in the bass now my fingers work they kept tangling up at that cord in the tab its just 2 string,All learning together,
Thank you, I will try working on the variations more it dose sound repetitive, my timeing has always been a problem as soon as I press record or play in front of people I dont know it gose straight to fast forward.The little slide up the neck in the intro is an attempt at doing what you did in your intro of the run through I think the main difference is you do it well.Thank you again for your advice and taking the time to listen I really apprecate it
Hi Corey, thank you for your advice and taking the time to listen I can understand your time is valuable as 10-15 mins of your time equals a life time of enjoyment for me thanking you again Dave
@Corey,Hope this finds you well, thank you for taking the time to listen very much apprecated.I,ve taken to practicing with a metranome to try and steady my pace as well as signing up at a music club where you have to preform once a month with some practice and exposing myself I hope to tame the beast of stage fright/recording.As for special rider still practcing will post when I feel I have improved on timing and the dynamics .Alway in your debit for you lessons and advice
@ Mike cheers mate gettting that feed back really gives me encouragement that at least I'm on the right track, you should post yourself playing seeing myself play I've learnt what I'm missing as well as what to focus on as well watching Alex play helped me to get the main riff just the way he holds it you get a good close up of his fingers.
@Alex Cheers for your help
@JD I think your timing is fine but I know what you mean your playing perfect then you press record you heart starts pounding louder and farster than the beat,well done looking forward to seeing your next post
@Corry worked on turn around getting closer and part B needs abit more practice I tried slowing down but as soon as I press record that gose out he window theres also a veration that you do in the V just before the turn around that I have got down yet
This what I've sort of got so far, just few questions the tuning is that really Em or is it open A7 I know the tune is in A but the tuning also the Tab for the V riff on the 2nd string its tabed 0 3 5 6 is that right or is it 0 3 4 5 and last of all I don't think Ive got the end of the V riff down I cant seem to make it fit with (for lack of better words)the turn around,
I would also like to say sorry for not singing but you would have to trust me when I say nobody wants to hear that and the speed as that was the first for me recording myself and was nerves cheers for all your great work it is very very much appreciated Cheers Dave
