Your class is very helpful. I have one question.. I hold my fourth finger and little finger lean on 1st string, unlike you when I picking. I've been picking like this for a long time. But these days, I'm worried about incorrect pickings. Your right hand always seems to pick up independently from the string. Is there a problem with the way I'm doing it? Is this the problem that I sometimes touch other strings? I kept touching another line that I didn't want. Do you think it's a picking style problem?
I don't think there's any problem with how you're doing it. Everybody is built differently, with different bodies, hands, etc. So what works best for me might not be what works best for you. The main thing that I would avoid is resting the palm of your right hand on the bridge or bridge pins because that can dampen the top and lead to a less powerful sound (Although Molly Tuttle does exactly this and she's wonderful!). And actually, I often let my middle finger lean on the first string which I learned from watching Tony Rice because he does that too.
Hi, Chris.

It's quite painful to fix a closed style.
Thanks ! Chris !
Hi JiMyeong! Nice to see you on here!

Happy holidays and hope to see you soon!
