Wheww... This takes some practice... It's difficult to recognize when the right notes are playing as my slap down is a little forced so I'm getting mixed results. Being able to hear it done correctly (adjust and then try it again) is invaluable.... though m taking this lesson a little slower, in segments, a few minutes at a time. Thank you and best regards! Phil
The repetition, both slow and normal speed it really helpful. Also, your explation to hear the sound before you play it is incredibly useful. I'm amazed when this happens automatically. Thank you for piecing this together. You are very patient and clear and I greatly appreciate your help! The dog isn't running out the room lately so I must be improving.
Thank you again. I need a lot of work on this... and I'm running out of breath and moving my head, forcing the sounds, some squealing out. I intend to keep practicing along though. The video and explanation are very clear, concise and extremely helpful... breaking this up in pieces with repetition, slow and fast is perfect. Phil
Jerry, this is the best lesson I've had. Thank you for sharing what you know. You've given me a way to practice and the sounds to listen for. It is priceless and being able to follow along is fun and rewarding. You are also very patient and clear in your lessons, which I is greatly appreciate as a beginner. THANK YOU!!! Phil
