This Lesson 2 is really useful as a starting point with the "Slow Blues" theme. Perhaps it should have been considered as Lesson 1, as we're used to the "chords first" format that you've set.
What makes Lesson 2 useful is the combination of the passing chords with the short "adjoining" licks.
Glad to see that a more "acoustic" lesson is on the horizon, as I unfortunately sold my electric while trying to learn acoustic fingerstyle blues.
great lessons, but I can;t save them to my Ipod to practice on the road. I've been waiting for along time for these. . .ever since seeing you with Muddy in 1979-80.

Corey,
Yes, please. . .a slowed down look at the single note fills around the chords.
This tune is great. It reminds me of tunes that I learned in Woody Mann seminars by Rev. Gary Davis and others. First position chords. It's the bass, licks and "feel" that takes time to assimilate. Can't wait for the additional fills around the chords.
Hi Mike,
It's just the finger numbers for the 9th.
3's instead of 1's etc.
Tim.
I think Mike got the fingerings wrong for the 9th chords. . .
