Creating A Rhythm Guitar Tapestry

Hello All!

This week I'm going to show you the crosspicked rhythm guitar that I sometimes use when playing this tune or other songs or tunes at a similar tempo. The idea is that it is you can create a continuous "tapestry" of accompaniment rather than just strums. A key part of this sound is employing open strings that can ring through while you are changing chord shapes.

Enjoy!

Chris

Nice at the end, and Chris, you do that sort of thing without too much of a plan. Very impressive. Anyway, having fun with the tab. Almost committed it to memory, just need to get up to your speed now.

Thanks for the back story ... just do that Critter crosspicking thing ... classic. It is very pleasing to the ear, mesmerizing and fun to watch you play it.  I'd be 112 years old before I could play that but thanks for showing it.

Another beauty, Chris!  BTW, you and Julian and Aoife were great in Lexington, KY a few weeks ago.  Inspiring.
