Hey Harpers of Sonic Junction…this week for the 5th Chorus of Boogie On The I we are gonna have some more drawn out distorted notes, and possibly some patterns of more draw notes in a row than you may be used to. I have been stressing how important the groove is here for this piece, and this chorus is no exception. It starts out with some phrasing that may catch you off guard, so pay attention to the beat and the groove…and most importantly control your breath so you have enough air to wail on these long distorted draw notes and patterns. Fluidity is key, and that is only possible when you control your breathing.
Get to it, and get in the groove!
