Hi Folks,
This week we are starting work on a great song. The classic blues ballad "I Got It Bad And That AIn't Good" its a wonderful bluesy tune with haunting melody and Lyrics. We start of of course with the chords to this beauty. On our first lesson we learn the first half of the tune and I demonstrate some fills with chords that compliment the vocal melody. We also get to play along with a track of Brad Hallen and I backing Sunny Crownover's beautiful vocal so you can do fills around her and solo. Next lesson we finish the chord progression then learn the melody for the intro melody chorus.

Hey Duke! Gosh, I love this song. I found this great soundie of Ivy Anderson singing it with Duke's band. It's amazing to watch her.

Hi Steve, The rest of the song after the first chorus is in Bb. It modulates to Bb from F at the vocal. next lesson is the rest of the song in Bb. Coming right up Friday. Duke
