Hello Friends,

This week we are learning the melody to I Never Knew. It's a simple melody that's easy to play. Some of these type of tunes are deceptively simple and it's when expanding on the melody it's important to add only a little bit that works to start or end the written melody. Straying too far while stating the melody should be refrained from in my humble opinion. You can do that in soloing till your hearts content. But with a beautiful simple melody it sounds best close to the way it was written. So learn it and then try to play it a way that appeals to you and next week we'll start working on soloing.
