Hi Friends,
This week we are starting a new song. It's a classic that was written in the 1920s but still being performed to this day. I even recorded it with Scott Hamilton for an album to be released later this year. The song is "I Never Knew" which has been recorded by hundreds of artists from Bob Wills to John Coltrane and Kenny Burrell. It's a great tune, simple and fun to play with a slightly different progression and a minor bridge. So check out a few versions, learn the chords and rhythm this week and next week we'll learn the melody.
Enjoy!
Duke

Thanks Duke! Love this tune, and know most the versions you mentioned (plus of course Charlie Christian). Don't think I've heard a vocal version, so going to have fun checking those out : )
Thanks, Duke!!! This is a great tune and I look forward to your lessons!
