Hello Folks,

This week we are working on my second chorus of solo for the N.O. groove version of See See Rider. We start off in first position and work our way up to second by the four chord. We employ some double stops and generally try to build on the first chorus. Introducing new ideas like double stops, rhythmic changes, moving to another position and melodic lines and repeated figures are all tools to make each chorus build in a natural way. They should be subtle so as to give you time and space over several choruses. As the senior blues guys always used to say to young guys coming up. "Take your time son, take your time......
