Hello Folks, this week we are working on soloing on my song "Too Hot to Handle". Last week we started on the first 4 measures of the 1 chord. This week we complete the chorus. There is plenty of early Gatemouth Brown inspired licks here. Since Gatemouth's guitar style is almost totally my inspiration for my playing on this I stuck with many of Gates cool riffs here. Duke, I have not learned the solo yet but this song has been a favorite of mine for years and I wanted to post a video so you could see where I'm at. I have not had a lot of time to practice the lessons recently but I'm getting back to it.
