The playing embodied the freedom of wings, the less than technical but more than natural, style he created. 

@Timothy .. Great one!  I totally agree that the music captures the feeling of freedom.  I'm going to have to learn it someday.

Michael Bloomfield's guitar intro on "Our Love Is Driftin" on the first Paul Butterfiels Blues Band album. Hot stuff there.
