Hi Folks,
This week we learn the second chorus of my solo and I demonstrate a lot of B.B. licks and ways to approach soloing in first, second and third position using key B.B. phrases. You should find these useful in shuffles, swing, slow blues and rumbas. Have fun working with the track.
Enjoy!
Duke

Hi Bruce, Nice work on the BB Tune playing and singing. I wish more people would sing with tracks when appropriate. The one critique I have is on the opening rhumba chorus. You get a bit ahead of the track. The rhumba feel in blues is a bit more relaxed. Try slowing your attack a bit and counting while you are playing that first chorus. It may help in getting you more relaxed while in the rhumba section. Good soloing in the lead section!
Many thanks for the kind words and the advice!
