Hello Friends,
We have a new song this week that is a popular song from 1932 written by Harold Arlen. It has been recorded by such diverse artists as Helen Humes, George Harrison, Howard Roberts, Dicky Wells with Django Rhienhart and Sunny and Her Joy Boys. I recommend listening to all the versions you can find. It's a really fun song to play and sing also if you'd like. This week we learn the chords. It's a typical swing groove in a 32 bar A-A-B-A form like many other songs we have learnt. I promise this one will be fun to learn.
Enjoy!
Duke

Very nice !! Thanks Duke.
Great tune, Duke! Always loved this one. My comping seems okay (for something I'm just learning) but the second half of the bridge really trips me up! Have to think about that part. ;o)
Lovely! Thanks Duke, always loved this tune. The versions I'm most familiar with are by Louis Armstrong and Tony Bennett's (also enjoy George Harrison's uke : )
