Hello Folks,

The next few weeks we will be re-visiting the second part of Blues-a-rama which is the Guitar Slim segment of the tune. Then we have two new lessons on his style.

Eddie Jones, AKA Guitar Slim has had a profound effect on me. His emotional playing and singing is the blueiest, drenched in raw sound and power, it transcends most blues sounds in a way I'd never heard before. I have tried to capture Slim's feeling by playing as simple and raw as I am capable of.
