We're re-issuing one of Dennis's most popular lessons with re-mastered video and updated loop points. From Dennis:
Hi Everyone - This week, in the next section of my third position "Boxed Up" instrumental, there is a melodic theme for this chorus. This melodic idea changes for the IV chord, which is a great way to break away from a wailing type of chorus, and also build up the (or down) the dynamics in a new direction for any solo. Again, there are some technique "decorations" and articulations involved, which will add to the intensity and overall feel of the chorus…remember, it's not always just what you say, but HOW you say it that will convey what you feel.
Enjoy!
Dennis
