Hello Folks,

This week we are working on the second chorus of my solo on Careless Love. We start off with an arpeggiated riff in 2nd position leading from the 5 note on the G string up to the 5th on the high E string in a typical Duke style riff that goes backwards chromatically. We build the feeling here by bringing things up the neck a bit and continue on with melodic double stops and single lines building to the modulation to C for the organ solo at the end of the guitar break. Are we having fun yet? You bet!
