This week we cover the V, IV and out of the 2nd verse. It's only two simple-sounding licks, but as usual there's a lot going on here. Also, to help you along the way conceptually, I point out the musical logic in the relationship between the two licks. As you review this lesson, you may want to pay particular attention to that aspect of it. In my opinion, it's a good, simple example of how music should make sense and not just be a series of more or less random (no matter how cool you think they are) licks.
