We're re-issuing one of Dennis's most popular lessons with re-mastered video and updated loop points. From Dennis:
Hey Harp Fans! We are now going to cover the 6th chorus and really diving into 3rd Position in “Lookin’ Sharp”, my tribute to George “Harmonica” Smith. In this chorus we will work on wailing and distorting the 5 draw and 6 draw much the same way George did, as well using the notes in the blues scale to create new patterns and runs. One thing to remember is that scales don’t make music, we need to make music out of how we use the scales. The best blues players did exactly that, and I patterned this chorus to reflect similar ways in which George would turn around blues scale runs to make new phrases.
Dig it & dig in!
