In this lesson we will begin to learn my song, "Lynch Blues" from Fulton Blues, my most recent album. I chose this tune to give you an idea of how to write a song that has a traditional feel to it. When I wrote this song I was listening to a lot of Ishman Bracey and R.L. Burnside and some of that influence is reflected in the riffs. I suggest you get the bass line down to the point that it is steady and reliable and then concentrate on the riffs.
I hope you enjoy it.

Thanks for the kind comment Corey! And for giving me something more to think about. Regards!
I keep working on it...
The guitar sounds good here and you are playing comfortably. Nice job. You might want to try using brushes or string snaps for a little flavor. Thanks for sharig!
This riff is pure genius. Love working on it. It is like chanting,
Thanks William! You are right.
Powerful song. I really like the pulsing rhythm with the riffs woven in.
Thanks!
