In this first lesson we will concentrate on the chords and how to pick the strings. We also discuss the importance of the alternating bass in building a strong foundation for the song. Take you time with the bass line and make sure that you know it like the back of your hand! Once you have mastered the basics of the alternating and how to pick out the chords then you will be ready for the main riff.

Based on the tab file provided, do you play the C note on the B string once by itself and then again with the open A string (notes 7 and 8 on the first line of the tab), or do you play the C note just once and then hit the A string while its ringing? Thank you!!
