Hi there Sonic folks! This week we look at the pop/gospel song, "Put Your Hand In The Hand", written by Gene MacLellan, first record by Ann Murray in 1970 and released in 1971. Thereafter, it was recorded by Elvis Presley, Joan Baez, Donny Hathaway, Loretta Lynn and many others.
This lesson is mostly about the left hand rhythm. Here, I play in a gospel-shuffle style. If you've followed my lessons I've taught this left handed style before.
Don't forget to play close attention to the bounce of the left hand...that's very important for strength and endurance.
Also, sing with this one and have fun!
Practice and use a metronome!
Questions...just hit me up!
