Hi Folks,
This week we start working on T-Bone Walker's "Tell Me What's The Reason." It's one of T-Bone's classic 50s period shuffles that employs many of his best concepts. So this will be a fun song. We start off with the classic introduction using 9th chords then do a few choruses of T-Bone's most classic licks.
Enjoy!

Stevie Boy, You have a really natural feel for this great job all around on it! Duke
Thanks Duke. It wasn't easy, there are some tricky parts.
I already forgot it! But I learned from it, time well spent. I like that you emphasize getting the gist of this stuff and the concepts, and the feel, and then integrating it and using it in our own ways. It's the blues.
Mike, The Airline guitar has a very pure pickup sound like a Charlie Christian pickup
Hi Duke,
I like your T-Bone Walker lessons.
I'm trying to play solo guitar for about 3 years, but did not get the right picture on how to play a nice solo
Now I think I'm getting in to it. I know, it's just 104 BPM but I think it really sounds nice. I've made my own backingtrack :-) .
That's very good John, you are definately on the right track. Keep up the good work! Duke
Thanks so much Duke! Great playing and great advice on mindset!
