Hello Friends,
This week we finish up Please Send Me Someone to Love by working on soloing on the bridge and last A section. I demonstrate what I played on my solo and give you some ideas about how I approach it and other approaches you can employ. I am really looking forward to seeing how you all play it and, if by chance you are working on other songs post those also. I'm always interested in see your concept of any of these song.
Enjoy,
Duke

Hi Bruce, I like your more contempory blues take on this. (Someone to love) thanks for posting! Duke
Thanks Duke.
Hey Duke! Here's my stab at this one. What a great tune, and a real fun backing track to play with. Let's hope for better times to come in this crazy world, and if it's not asking too much, lord, please send me more guitars. :-) Take care Duke.
Hi Duke,
Hey Marty, Great feel and tone on this! Man, you really sound good and nice to see you're picking up all the little inflections. Great job! Duke
Here's my cut. Absolutely loved this one (as always). I cursed myself a few times about phrasing over the 2/5 and diminished - but at least I know where I need to put some time in. Can't wait to see what's next - and to see that beautiful Barney Kessell guitar!
Hi Charlie, You sound great playing this! i am enjoying your own lines alot. some of your double time stuff is very good and i can hear it going from your head to your fingers, which is the point. Keep up the good work! Duke
Thanks for opening up another classic! Really enjoying this one! And what an amazing guitar!!! You play some beauties but this one is really special!!! Maybe one lesson could be on Barney Kessels blues playing - how about the stuff he did with T-Bone on Atlantic?
That's a very good idea! i'll look for a tune of his. There's alway blues in whatever Barney plays! Duke
