In this lesson we look at some of the basics of slide, such as how to hold the slide and the positioning of your fingers. We talk about the importance of muting when playing slide. If you are new to slide try learning as many simple melodies that you can...jingles, pop tunes, anything will help you get better. Always start out learning new songs as slowly as you can so you can get to know them fully. Once you do that, you can bring the song up to tempo.
