Rick Estrin, back again, this time with verse 2 of Bo Dee's Bounce. As I said last week, the first four bars of this verse are pretty identical to the previous verse, but after that it takes off. We're still focusing on bends and note shaping, but in this verse there're also a couple little leaps and air direction switches to be mastered. I also lapse into a brief soliloquy on blues harmonica philosophy, AKA my opinions - But still, it's all good stuff for you to think about. Put in the work, but don't forget to enjoy it, and I'll see you next week.
