Hey! Rick Estrin, back again here at Sonic Junction with lesson 5 of Bo Dee's Bounce. This week we're tackling verse 5. Some of the 2 draw/3 blow, push/pull we're working in this verse may feel a little unfamiliar at first, but once you catch the groove of it, it's gonna open up a new world of rhythmic possibilities for you. This verse also has some small leaps that can help to achieve a little element of surprise, and help lift you out of the rut of defaulting too often to playing adjacent holes. If you really put in the work on this one, I promise you, you'll be glad you did. Be patient with yourself, and don't forget to have fun with it!
Rick
