Thank you for your response Mike. I write code for a living so I understand technically why this happened. What it didn't take into consideration is that I didn't take the two lessons, I may have clicked the link twice, but I had forgotten my password to log in so I ended up resetting it and then clicking again. Not a big deal. I have always found Sonic Junction to be a first class organization with good customer service, as your response shows :-)
So much for the free lesson it says is provided on youtube. The subscription box keeps popping up. I am a member but do not have an active subscription. Feeling a bit mislead here. Not your intention Rick I'm sure its Sonic Junction and not you that is making this happen.
Hi Brian --- welcome back and sorry for the confusion.
Yes, what you are experiencing is how we designed Sonic Junction. The reason why the subscription box pops up is that you have previously taken your two free lessons --- so when you try and take this one, it is being counted as your third lesson --- and that is why we are asking you to join with a paying membership. I can understand how it could be confusing and apologize for that.
The goal for the two free lessons is to allow people to check out the lessons and see if they are a good match in terms of what the Artist teaches and how they are teaching it.
I hope the explanation helps and feel free to contact me directly through the Contact Us page if you have further questions.
