Thanks Charlie for holding you guitar so I could better see what you were doing, I like your approach. Thanks Duke for this lesson and your Bass player too.
Thanks for your quick reply. I see the sheet music chords you are talking about, but what I would like is the Chord boxes with the dots to show where you put your fingers. These chord boxes are another great learning tool.
Hope all is well. I like your chord work, it would be really grand if SJ could print your chords to these songs in chord boxes, labeling the name of the chord at the top of the chord box, also including what fret the chord starts on the botton of the chord box, it would be a great help and learning tool. Reason is, I can hardly see your fingers from my small screen,
thank you midnight mike! it's great to be here. the bar has been raised very high so i have my work cut out for me! let me know how you like it as we go along.....

Hello Duke,
Hope all is well. I am watching your video Swingin "With Lucy Mae" from "Swinging The Blues"series (I like it) and noticed the chord page dots in the chord box were different from what you were playing in the video, they may sound somewhat alike but the structure seemed different. The chord box notes were structured closer to the high E as opposed to the video chords that you are playing are formed closer to the low E. This is my observation as I am trying to learn the song, can you please explain why the chord box notes seem different than what you are playing in the video?
The 13th is nice, I hear another chord on the top of the 13th walk up on the Nat King Cole version, thanks for the cool licks Duke, its a pleasure to study with you.

Hi Mike, Sonic Junction doesn't use chord boxes but there are plenty of books with them available. Duke
Hi Duke,
Hope all is well. What a beautiful tune. Does SJ have the chord box charts to play from?
Thanks.
Mike

Hello Mike, I think that is a reasonable request. I'll mention it. Thanks, Duke
