Hi there Sonicites!!!
This lesson features original song, "Baby Please Be True", in the key of Bb. It's a different groove, but still related to the blues form and styles of the first two lessons.
These first lessons are primarily geared to build a strong left hand in such the style of the great groove keepers of piano and primarily New Orleans pianist.
Here, the left hand is playing the consistent rhythm of 1 & 2 & 3 & 4 &, while resting on the 2 &.
Practice it slowly and refer prior lessons for a warm up and to reinforce hand pattern memory. Don't rush it and always remember to practice with a metronome.
If you got any questions i'm here to help, just just hit me up!!!!

Hey Davell,
Thanks for the lesson - here's my attempt at it. Any critiques welcome
Matthew, great. One question I have for you. Are you a singer? If not you should start singing aloud these songs. It would help. Certainly, you are doing a great job playing them, but I'd like to see you breathe a little more life and soul into your playing. Singing the song would be a great first step! Other than that I think this was a really good presentation of the song!
