Hello Folks,

This week we are learning my first solo chorus to Frankie and Johnny. It was borrowed in part from one of Tiny Grimes many versions of it. I start out in the mid/low register beginning the solo by making a new combination of notes I end the head with and continue on playing melodically in the first or root position. It goes right along with many of the ideas for swing/jump blues soloing we have been working all along. So sink your teeth into it and we will move on to a brand new chorus next week.
