Rick Estrin, back on Sonic Junction this week with the second half of of verse five in this piece we're calling "So Long". This section of the verse goes from the V chord on out. On the lick leading to the V, and the lick leading to the IV, we're using just the right amount of intentional slop to achieve that dirty, slightly distorted effect and giving the licks some real extra power and weight. After that we throw in a little suggested double-time and wrap up the verse with a fairly classic Chicago blues harp tag.
