Hi Folks, this week we are learning the solo to "Sweet Home Chicago" Magic Sam style. Lots of good standard Chicago blues licks here including 7th to diminished chord accents, lead and rhythm licks together and classic blues riffs and turnarounds. Dig in and send me some videos! Enjoy, Duke

Mr. Robillard:
First and foremost, I am enjoying your lessons very much. You had mentioned in your previous lesson that one could make song suggestions:
Though more R&B in nature, how about the following songs.....I Put A Spell On You ....... & I'd Rather Go Blind
I'll consider those John. Both great tunes! Duke
Duke,
Doing thses video logs is a nice practce tool. Having a little trouble easeing into this one, but the rest feals good.
Thanks,
Steve
Steve H, You sound great on this. Raw and powerful, as it should be! Duke
+1 on the Stumble. I would love to learn that tune ... and I think it's within reach for me.
Gatemouth and PeeWee would be fun too. So much to learn! Great suggestions Alan.
I would be good with Freddie King. That's my coffee before I get to Starbucks !
Alanj, Those are some very good suggestions and I will add at least a few of them to my lessons. Thanks, Duke
Hi Allan, Very Good! Right in the pocket man. Duke
Yeah man - kinda sloppy & not sure where I'm goin, but heading toward CHICAGO !
Duke, I have three suggestions for some instrumentals: Gatemouth's Okie Dokie Stomp, PeeWee's Boogie(has a ton of cool stuff that I know you've used), Freddy Kings the Stumble or Sidetracked. Also I know I suggested this once but some chess Robert jr Lockwood stuff.
Thanks
Alan
